Jaroslav Melnik (Jaroslavas Melnikas en lituanien ou Yaroslav Melnyk), écrivain et philosophe. Il publie en Lituanie, en Ukraine et dans d’autres pays européens. Son roman Les parias d’Eden, paru chez Robert Laffont, a été salué par la critique. Selon la revue Lire, Jaroslav Melnik s’interroge avec une grande justesse sur les tabous qui limitent la liberté humaine.
Son nouveau roman Masha, ou le Post-fascisme vient de paraître en Ukraine et est déjà remarqué par la critique pour sa force métaphorique.
